Rob Haigh – My first Great North Run. A cracking atmosphere and crowd and as someone else has already said, the rain came just at the right time to soak us down on the home straight.

Sarah Richardson – My bunny ears powered me round the 13 miles! (As well as the thought of the animals I’d be helping if I finished) Note from Farplace – Sarah we loved the fluffy bunny tail!

Sarah Matthews (pictured with her brother and her dad)  – Loved the bunny ears – they matched my sun glasses. Dad had a complete surprise when I turned up from Sydney with my brother to run the race with him – his first half marathon aged 65!
